I looked into Tyler Buchner’s rivals ranking..

Buchner was elite as a high school junior… rivals had him as a top 6 dual threat qb.

5.9 four star

Brian Kelly raves about the quarterback

***The biggest information I’ve found out is Buchner did not even have a senior season in football because of Covid … their football season was completely shut down in California.

While many have shot down his freshman year as a bust, he did miss an entire season of football his senior year. That’s a big jump.

Jones----1 in 2020---undefeated season guess you could say Great, but a Sr. before starting

Bryce Young was great, but we didn't get one. Tua was considered great his last 2 years, but we didn't get one then either.

Alabama basketball added its second commitment of the weekend landing Cal State Fullerton guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr.

6’3 combo guard transfer from Cal St Fullerton has committed to Alabama.

17 ppg on 38% from 3 and is a guy that can really create his own shot, but is an elite spot up shooter. Also has a 22% assist rate so he can create for others as well.

What a couple days for Alabama.

That he'd only turn to the portal to add a player that would really
contribute to the team, not merely add just depth to the roster.
Maybe as fans, we're a little spoiled and accustomed to the
run of great QBs that BAMA has been blessed.
I've got to respect Saban's track record, he's far
smarter than me.......Jake Coker. is an example. But, I STILL believe
that Ty Simpson will prevail, (based on the very tiny A-game sample). I've heard from sources that are usually reliable that Buchner had an outstanding spring game at ND, showed great improvement from last year. Also, Brian Kelley's comments when he 1st recruited him.
So, maybe we're "jumping the gun", a little bit.........I trust in Saban's judgement.
