Barners are truly classless!!

Reading their comments on BAMA and Mitchell and saying how we have no class and calling Mitchell a liar!
Well I guess the hiring of Freeze shows how much class they have and how true full Freeze and their honest and true full basketball coach is!!!
It never ceases to amaze me how much they are of a mindless cult they are! And how it still continues to be! Anyway!
ROLL TIDE ROLL!

Football Recruiting BREAKING: Five-Star DB Desmond Ricks selects the Tide capping off a historic class

What a week, what a recruiting class. Desmond Ricks tops things off by committing to Alabama.

The OL could be THIN moving forward (Nuggets on OL)

Alabama could be down to nine offensive linemen for the Sugar Bowl, a source close to the program has told Tide Illustrated. In recent days the Crimson Tide has seen starting left guard Javion Cohen as well as backups Amari Kight, Tommy Brockermeyer, Tanner Bowles and Damieon George Jr. enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Here are some nuggets I've picked up recently.

— Emil Ekiyor Jr., Tyler Steen and Darrian Dalcourt are all eligible to return for next season but likely won't. Ekiyor has already accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl.

— Javion Cohen is drawing interest from several other teams and has been approached with six-figure NIL deals. That is likely a big reason why he is opting to head to the transfer portal.

— While Tommy Brockermeyer is in the portal, his twin brother James looks likely to remain at Alabama at the moment.

— Alabama is making a strong push for five-star Iowa commit Kadyn Proctor. Nick Saban and offensive line coach Eric Wolford both visited him over the weekend. Proctor is going to be a hard pull from the home-state Hawkeyes, but he'd have a serious shot at starting right away for Alabama given the state of the Crimson Tide's line.

Alabama currently has five offensive linemen committed in next year's class in Wilkin Formby, Olaus Alinenen, Mile McVay, RyQueze McElderry and Raymond Pulido.

— I fully expect Alabama to pursue offensive linemen in the portal. I don't know specific targets as of yet.

— It's obviously way too early, but this is what I would expect Alabama's depth chart at offensive line to look like heading into next season at the moment.

DL - Guys help me

First, I am asking a real question here. Second, I’m not a Debbie Downer or pretend to be a know-it-all. So, here’s the question:

Why does it seem like, since Bobby Brown flipped from us to aTm, we haven’t been able to recruit top flight DLinemen? I know, Damon Payne was supposedly #1 in his class. And Jaheim is coming on strong. But we haven’t seen anything like a Quinnen or Jonathan since they were here.

Help me understand this…..

Football Recruiting What we’re hearing heading into ESD

So this week is where money is made in most cases, thankfully a good amount of Alabama’s top targets are already in the fold.

In most cases, like Caleb Downs and Justice Haynes, they’ve cut off contact with all the schools that were recruiting them.

That said this week is always jammed-packed full of action, so we take a look at the current class in terms of who you should keep an eye on late versus players who seem to be trending towards the Tide.

So first things first, Kadyn Proctor surprised many when he visited Alabama this weekend for an unofficial. He’s maintained a strong commitment to Iowa over the course of the year.

However, this late interest from the Tide and the visit are too hard to ignore. Paid that with Raymond Pulido decommitting, it has the looks of another fashionable signing day flip.

Damari Brown is another name to watch. He he has strong connections to the program, based on the merit that Saban loves Florida DBs. Brown has maintained communication with the staff regardless of other schools like Miami and Florida State remaining heavily involved.

Hard to say currently if he try’s to play with his brother. Although, if it’s a decision for him alone. It could spell a Crimson Tide ending for the cover corner.

Staying on the subject of DB, Alabama finds themselves in an interesting position heading into Wednesday as Tony Mitchell just visited A&M with others pushing. If Mitchell were to flip, it would come bright and early Wednesday.

While, Desmond Ricks seems to have enjoyed himself on his visit to LSU over the weekend. However, all sides (Florida/Alabama/LSU) have some confidence but LSU could be a strong position right now.

One note, Denver Harris was on a visit to LSU as well, don’t know if that affects things.

Qua Russaw and James Smith seem to be trending towards the Tide despite the Auburn situation this weekend.

I will be in-person for their announcement this Wednesday, so as they make their decision you will be some of the first to know.

Luke Hasz has played close to the vest. He’s maintained a firm commitment to Arkansas. But it’s the final 48 hours so anything could change with the Tide getting in home last week. He’d be a huge addition in the TE room looks for more versatility & athleticism.

Last but not least, Tyler Scott seems to have an intriguing recruitment especially fresh off a visit to Texas. Seems like it could be Texas or Auburn here but he’s been flipping his decision on a weekly basis.

Wouldn’t hold out hope here with other targets higher on the board. He will now announce at the All-American bowl.

Saban and company have done an exceptional job putting this class despite some obvious negative recruiting and competition from other schools.

Alabama still has the opportunity to add to their current number one class and by the way things are trending, it’s not looking out of the question for the Tide to add even more.
