Now that it looks like the Sugar Bowl audition is off due to Bryce playing, how does this affect our decision going forward with respect to the portal...my guess is the plan was for the 2 to get reps over the 12 practices or so, and also play half the game in order for the coaches to determine if one or the other could be our guy...without that, we'll be going into spring having to answer those questions, and in all probability, lose out on bringing in a portal QB...unless of course Bryce has decided to come back, win his NC, and get another Heisman

Since the end of the season, rumors swirled that Alabama freshman quarterback Ty Simpson was going to enter the transfer portal. I spoke with his father Jason on Friday and he said "that conversation has never even come up."
