Pregame notes

— Bryce Young (shoulder) is fully dressed out during warmups but is not taking part in any throws. It looks like Jalen Milroe will be the starting quarterback for Alabama tonight.

— Wide receivers Tyler Harrell (foot) and Aaron Anderson (knee) are both fully dressed out and taking part in pregame warmups

— Darrian Dalcourt (back) is fully dressed out and was snapping to Young during warmups.

— Alabama’s first-team offensive line in warmups is Tyler Steen, Javion Cohen, Seth McLaughlin, Emil Ekiyor Jr., J.C. Latham from left to right.

— Defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe (neck) is not dressed out during pregame warmups. Here's what Nick Saban said about him earlier this week: "Justin Eboigbe has got a neck injury that we're having specialists look at to make sure we manage correctly and we're not going to allow him to play until we can get the exact most expert plan of action for him and his future."

— Defensive backs Brian Branch and Jahquez Robinson are dressed out and going through warmups. They both picked up knocks at Arkansas but appear to be fine.

— Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher shook hands before the game

— Deontae Lawson and Henry To'oTo'o get the start at inside linebacker tonight. Jaylen Moody is not dressed out for warmups.

— Despite being announced as the starting quarterback, it doesn't look like Bryce Young (shoulder) will feature tonight. Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson were the only quarterbacks to take snaps in final team drills

Reports: Bryce Young to return, Tennessee without two stars today

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Bryce Young will start for No. 3 Alabama to against No.6 Tennessee provided everything goes as planned in warmups. Friday, Nick Saban told ESPN that Young feels like he’s healthy enough to play. Thamel also reported that Tennessee's Jaylen McCollough and Cedric Tillman will not play in the game.

McCollough, a starting safety, was arrested on charges of aggravated felony assault Sunday after a man entered his apartment by mistake, leading to a bloody altercation. Tillman, Tennessee's leading receiver last year, missed the Volunteers' last two games after undergoing ankle surgery following the game against Akron on Sept. 17.

BAMA VITRIOL!!!

I've been around Bama football for many decades, both as an alumnus and devoted fan.
Maybe, it's just 'old age', but I can't ever remember a pregame time when so many 'prognosticators' are
literally salivating and 'slobbering at the mouth' for Bama to lose, tomorrow.....like a bunch of mad dogs....a foregone certainty, accordingly.
I guess it's literally true that nothing breeds more envy, contempt, hatred than uninterrupted, great excellence and success.
Certain that I'm not the only one noticing this.
With all that being said,......... ROLL TIDE, ROLL!
