According to Matt Zenitz, Alabama recruiting special Brandon Rose has been hired by Wisconsin. Rose has been with the Crimson Tide as an assistant director of player personnel since 2021.

I've known him since he was 12 so this was especially touching when he posted the pic of him as a kid at Hillgrove HS in GA.

The questions regarding Ryan Williams were expected during Alabama’s turn behind the microphone at SEC Media Days on Wednesday. The five-star receiver is one of the Crimson Tide’s most hyped incoming players and drew plenty of praise from Alabama’s contingent in Dallas.

However, Williams wasn’t the only Alabama freshman receiver to hear his name brought up among the barrage of topics on the day. Thanks to a couple of reporters from Chattanooga, Tennessee, four-star talent Amari Jefferson also received a few shoutouts during the media event.

Four-star DL Floyd Boucard and WR Derek Meadows will both announce their commitments this afternoon.

Boucard is deciding between Alabama, Oklahoma, Miami and USC. It’s been a close race but Oklahoma really made a strong impression during Boucard’s OV there.

Alabama is still monitoring targets at both WR and DL and can afford to keep each group small in 2025. Recruiting will pick back up considerably once the dead period ends next week.

If you saw my thread a couple weeks ago on Jasper, you know that I’ve thought Alabama was leading his recruitment. I’m told he may be getting close to a commitment, and if it’s very soon, then it’ll be Alabama imo.

I got to sit down with Mikel this past spring and discuss his recruitment, and he debated on reclassifying to 2024. He did not, but Alabama was going to recruit him whichever cycle he chose. Even though Alabama already has Aden Holloway and Labaron Philon on the roster, and Jasper Johnson potentially committing, Alabama remains arguably the favorite to land Brown. He does not have a desired timeline to commit. Could Jasper potentially change his view on Alabama? Possibly, but I think he loves how Alabama plays multiple guards and rotates them a lot.

The 2025 class is looking like another potentially historic class for Alabama.

Will Jaheim Oatis be the next QWilliams, or Barmore to pick in the payoffs, or national championship game? We have had several nose tackles that were intermittent in the final game. Just wondering if Jaheim will be the next.
