Either I don’t notice it, or teams rarely go 4 wide anymore with 4 true WR’s. Is it bc the TE has evolved so much and TE’s are so versatile? Or what? 4 wide use to be a big thing but now teams just split the TE out more times than not.
It seems like the more wide receivers, the more defensive backs and less linebackers. Which sounds like a win if you can get linebackers off the field and defensive backs on the field when you’re facing Georgia.
