Why does every coach who comes to Bama completely sh*t the bed?
All of our players just look like the same player. It’s like we have 5 stretch 3/4s that freaking suck a**
Primo looks so confused on defense. Hasn’t been in the right defending spot all night. You live by the 3 and die by the 3. Right now we are dying.
Why are you surprised? We say this about most Bama opponents.

We have offense based around uptempo and shooting 3’s and we have a bunch of guys that can’t dribble and can’t shoot.
You know what Alabama Basketball reminds me of?!?! Tennessee football. Both have plenty of talent and are hyped AF but shit the bed and the results never show.
I will take the final minute of that first half! This game is honestly to fast for primo while he's on the defensive end. Offense is there. Defense is in high school. All we were much more calculated at the end of the half

the reason this keeps happening is the defensive rotation, communication is nonexistent. This is a different team when we defend. When we defend like we should, the offense is better because we get out and run

@Tony_Tsoukalas what are the swearing rules around here? I feel like I am going to swear in the 2nd half but don’t want to get in trouble with ESD tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know man. Part of me agrees with you and Oats is having to try and do the best he can to win with what he's got. On the other hand if these guys are just doing their own thing against Oat's will then that is on Oats. If you don't do what the coach wants you take a seat on the bench and watch somebody else play in your place. This team has taken a step back.
Primo was way out of position on defense, gave up a wide open 3. Got pulled and yelled at on the bench. Petty does literally the exact same thing on the next possession, gives up a wide open 3. The last few minutes looked a lot better. We just need to learn how to play like that from the start

I truly look forward to future Coach Oats’ teams. I really do! I just have a difficult time with this senior class playing in this offense and not just blaming the players here, but come on. I do love Herb and his toughness most nights, but my man is great defender on a good shooting team. These seniors and not just them are just not fit for this. I think it shows mostly when you see one team make so many open shots and we can’t seem to get an open shot. I do think and maybe hope that we do come back in this one. We can get hot scoring 3’s and thinking maybe Furman will slow down on the 3 side. Hopefully. I’ll continue to watch and hope that we can do better and remember that I said I like this pace of play (but admittedly with a little better shot selection).
At some point, you have to wonder when they will be coached.
Been watching Bama basketball since I was a 12 year old kid in 1973. No one has been more loyal than me. But I am close to finding something else to do. Just ridiculous.
I can see the defensive rotation is bad and understand how that can impact us on the offensive end. My issue is why does this type of dogsh*t play continue to happen night after night?
That is something I can’t answer. My opinion, start playing some guys that do what the coach asks. Just my opinion.
I wouldn’t invest in a freaking water fountain for this team. They deserve Coleman.
I really really hate to say it but I’m close to joining you. I have been a Bama basketball fan longer than many of the folks on this board have been alive but this is so hard to watch.
Oats is going to have to get an 8 or 9 man rotation and let those guys play together and build some chemistry together. And Reese doesn't need to be one of them
Here comes some sunshine. We will see what the team is made of. If they have heart, they will defend the home court. Let’s hope Furman can’t keep up the 70% shooting.
