This is the most important game of the year IMO. Lose to them again and we're toast as far as the NCAA tournament goes. However, if we learned from that debacle in Columbia two weeks ago and beat them soundly like every other decent team that they have faced so far has, then our season may be back on track. We absolutely have to win these next two games.

I think if we lost to them, we would still get in the tourney. We have really good wins. Mizzou is a tough match up for us, but if we play like we did against LSU, we win Bigly

I agree it’s a very important game, but it would take a meltdown of epic proportions to miss out on the tournament. The work this team did before sec play secured a tournament berth. We’re playing for seeding unless we just completely fall apart.

If we can’t beat them, how in the heck are we gonna beat Kentucky, the boogs, LSU in red stick, Baylor, Mississippi State, Arkansas, or Texas A &M? Other than Georgia, Missouri is the worst team left on our schedule. That’s why I think we’re toast if we lose to them again.

We have some great wins, but 8-10 in conference play is very realistic if we lose today. Coupled with a probable loss to Baylor, that would leave us at 17-14 in the regular season. I’m not sure that would get us in. Missouri’s net ranking is 175. The damage to our resume that would result from getting swept by them would be very difficult to overcome. Hopefully our guys come out focused today and take care of business so we don’t have to worry about that.

Cuonzo owns Nate. Who all is out for them for us to be -18?

I don't bet, but I wouldn't touch that line if I did. Missouri is one of the worst Power 5 teams in the country. Their average margin of defeat is over 22 points. They have been beaten by over 20 points 6 times already, with one of those blowouts coming at the hands of Liberty. Arkansas beat them by 44, Kansas by 37, Kentucky by 27, Illinois by 25, Florida State by 23, and Liberty by 21. Even Missouri-Kansas City beat them by 14. They're awful. On the other hand, we have only won 3 games by more than the 18 point spread that we'll need to cover today. The last one of those 18+ point wins came way back in November. As Wimp Sanderson would say, that line is a stinky fish.

They are awful for sure, but beat us with 2 key guys out just a few weeks ago.

Amazing how much the poor shooting has turned the prospects for this team…shooting well and they look like a possible 1 seed, then shooting goes in the toilet and now we are hoping to not get swept by the worst team in the SEC.

Sometimes basketball just isn’t that complicated…play hard, finish plays by making open shots, and this team can challenge anyone. #FinishThePlay

Not sure my first statement demanded this question, but no, gotta give any coach 5 years. Either way, this “system” isn’t winning titles on the college or pro level.
Well in 2.5 seasons you've already determined that the University should go in a different direction. Why give him 2 more years? Who would you like to see on the sideline?

Gotta give any coach 5 years in CBB. I’d like a coach that represented UA a little better than the Dan Mullen antics with no product to back them up. I’d start there.

The way committee goes I actually think 17 wins gets us in. Your point is well taken though… gotta win this one.

Goat23 I believe it's more on the players. Not sure what oats can do. It's not like he can sit people.
