This team is almost certainly overrated. The last 3 tough games they’ve had against ranked teams on the road we’ve lost all. We don’t have many very impressive wins over really good teams. UT at the time was a great win, and still is solid. But we don’t have a very high basketball IQ and make MANY BAD turnovers. Obviously we’re a dangerous team to face on any given night, but they’re not consistent enough against teams with a pulse. Still a vast improvement over anything before but at this point we’re mostly scraping by mediocre teams with the occasional blowout when we shoot lights out, and we lose to the good teams.
The refs aren’t helping and most definitely calling it differently on one end and not the other, but we are a lazy bunch of ass holes.
Bruner can't move and we have him guarding a guard running across the court off of 3 screens....rough.
not at all when they came in. Theres no way you watched it. It was 5 when petty came back in. now herb and petty in and 16. They are incredibly lazy. I get it. People love herb for playing good d and previously playing hurt. But he's one of the worst offensive players per touch in recent history. I wonder what he thinks when he touches the ball.
Props to Arkansas. They are currently the best team in the league. We will win it though and take our 2-3 seed in the tournament.
its been rare for him the back half of the season. Ellis has proved to much more effective. SURPRISE! Herb has now fouled out in 3 of the last 4 games. He needs to come off the bench and give ellis the time he's deserved.
Herb can’t stay in a fvcking game for more than 20 minutes. He’s killing us. His fouls are mindless
Basketball is such a pu—... weak sport. People just flopping around getting fouls when you breathe on someone.
Fun to watch when hot, but other than that they are not that impressive. Sloppy to often.
3 of the last 4 games herb has fouled out. Stop thinking hes effective this back half of the year when ellis has passed him up on both sides of the court.
I get such a kick out of people bashing JQ and ellis for a few turnovers when they play with 10x more energy than herb and petty
Petty came in after Ellis fouled a 3 point shooter. It wasn't a 2 point game when he fouled the shooter. You're comparing Herb and Petty to players on other really good teams. They wouldn't be the guys on those teams. But we aren't them. Ellis and Primo aren't ready to be the guys, that's obvious. JQ needs to be the point guard, but he can't play well enough to take it over. It'd be great if JQ, Ellis and Primo would play well enough to cut into Herb and Petty's minutes and shots, but they can't do it.
Certainly are tonight...can’t remember too many games where all the loose balls seemed to go to one team....

when they are on they are great. but man when they aren't its so bad for those guys. Herb petty and Reese constantly walk like they are still playing on a caj team
We didn’t play well enough to win - but watching these last few games, we have a serious officiating problem in the SEC. it’s been horrendous
Which one of them slept with your wife? Herb or Petty? Maybe both, that is the only reason I can come up with as to why you a constantly bitching about two of Bama best players that by all account is the heart of the team. So who slept with her and who watched?
heres what matters. we are finally getting rid of the 3 laziest players on the team that walk all over the court. Jd/jd Davison, shack, primo, ellis, and any big will dominate next year and be incredibly high energy. we have the best coach in basketball that has coached us to a 13-2 sec record in his 2nd year. FUTRE IS BRIGHT
The refs have been terrible both ways. We are at our best in a wide open type game not one with 40 fouls called
BEST BAMA PLAYERS? they walk all over the court. herb started amazing. and has finished incredibly bad. fouled out 3 of the last 4 and would be a quality bench player. No heart of the team is as lazy as them. The heart of our team is our bench game in game out or shack. any other argument is laughable.
Bama just got whooped tonight. Other than Bruner's hot 3 minutes and Gary not a single player played close to their potential.
You are about as right as this picture.
BTW, no other coach on the staff, opposing coaching staff, or media personal covering Bama would agree with anything you have to say.
Petty and Herb would be much better with JD too. You understand enough to be dangerous. You just don't understand there are two sides to every coin. You never flip the coin over. If JQ would do what he was suppose to do, Herb wouldn't have to play the point. You want Herb out all the time and he literally has to play the point when he has no business doing that. But none of your guys, JQ, Primo or Ellis can do it and all are much better equipped to do so.
Alabama is a simple team to figure out, the 3 are hitting they can beat anyone. When they are not hitting they could lose to just about anyone.
