Not allowed to link al.com here so I can;t link but know you guys can find it, Kevin S. today writing UA could learn about hiring bball coaches from UAB. Some truth in UAB's record sans Mike Davis really of what coaches that went there did or did after they moved up and Bama been going through a Dubose/Shula/Price kind of era of blah at best.
Now, people who hate Kevin S. as being anti-Bama will likely revolt at the article and I can understand why. But, some element....maybe small....of usefulness to it but i can see how the very topic and article can be spun as anti-Bama again.
Not sure what the real lesson would be other than find someone like Bartow (good luck with that) from a big program who wants down pressure or getting let's admit lucky in finding a new guy....just to jump ship someplace better....which of course happens at UAB and would likely happen at Bama as well...just maybe not as fast.
