I find it funny that people in the know all say Hurts is the guy. Obviously I'm not talking about the coaches especially when you think about how well Nick trolled us all last week. I am saying everyone that went to the scrimmages and or practices always had JH in their top 2. Chris Low, Rick Neuheisel, Kirk Herbstreit, Max Howell, Phil Savage, our own board insiders and the guy live tweeting from the scrimmage. The only reason he was not anointed the top spot was b/c they thought Saban would go with experience. When JH came in and performed with the poise of a upper classmen the deal was sealed. He had the best camp, he had the best scrimmages, and Saban leaving him in after the fumble tells you he's earned his trust. The competition is not formally over but at some point one has to set aside their own predispositions and go with the facts.
