Calling him the worse coach in America is a stretch, but he was spot on with his assessment of Oats. Oats is one if two things. He is either too arrogant to change because he feels his system is the only way to play, or he's not smart enough to coach anything other than this system he learned from Hurley.Sorry, but IMO, Nate Oats is no where near the worst coach in America? Not even by a mile.
Did he find the answer to this teams failures and bring this team together. No he did not and that is a key factor in being a good coach. But this team has problems deeper than coaching. JMHO though.
I think this team, like most teams, takes on the personality of their head coach. He is an arrogant guy who doesn't think have to change anything he does. He rarely takes responsibility for his team not being prepared even though that's his job.
