Alabama was working inside today at practice as LSU prep continued. We finally got a good look at the secondary today, so let's not waste time.
- In the nickel package, Minkah Fitzpatrick was working at safety with Tony Brown at star. The other three players (Ronnie Harrison, Marlon Humphrey, Anthony Averett) were all the same.
- When they went to dime, Hootie Jones and Minkah Fitzpatrick were the two safeties. Ronnie Harrison dropped into the slot along with Tony Brown. Marlon Humphrey and Anthony Averett were the corners.
- I didn't see Alphonse Taylor at practice today. Not sure what that means, if anything. We'll check on him again tomorrow.
- I would take this with a large grain of salt, but the running back order today was Damien Harris, Joshua Jacobs, Ronnie Clark (wearing Leonard Fournette's No. 7 jersey) and a fourth player in a scout team jersey, then Bo Scarbrough. Pretty safe bet that if Clark is running scout team, he's not actually ahead of Scarbrough, though.
- During some of the wide receiver routes, Raheem Falkins came up lame. I did not see him get back in line for another route later. He didn't go to the ground or anything, but was talking to Jeff Allen later.
