Alabama was working inside in full pads for the first time I can remember in quite some time, though I wasn't at practice on Monday or Tuesday this week. The drought around here has given them a long stretch to work outside.
Nick Saban coming up a little before 6:00.
- Alphonse Taylor was dressed in a normal white jersey today but I didn't see him taking contact drills. Lester Cotton was working with the first team offensive line.
- I didn't see Cooper Bateman throw during one of the periods to the WRs. It was just Jalen Hurts and David Cornwell. Not sure if he's injured or they're just doing something different or what.
- Tony Brown was still working with the second team at Star. As I've mentioned before, part of me wonders if they'll try to integrate him with the starters during the bye week coming up. That will be their best opportunity to do it.
- The Chargers and Falcons had scouts at practice today. I think there were more NFL teams elsewhere that I didn't see (the Chargers scout said there were 4 or 5 total) but don't know who those teams would be.
