USC loses to Washington 21-26 -- Lincoln Riley now has 5 losses on the season. The Trojans finished the 2023 season with 5 losses after suffering only 3 in 2022 (Riley’s first season at the helm).
Western Kentucky over Kennesaw State 31-14 -- Don’t look now but the Hilltoppers are now 6-2.
Ole Miss over Arkansas 63-31 -- Jaxson Dart’s performance falls off significantly against better competition. His three worst completion percentage games came in a loss at LSU (57%), a win at S. Carolina (52%) and a loss at Kentucky (67%), which was Dart’s 3rd worst completion percentage all season. Fingers crossed he’s on target in Oxford against Kirby and the Dawgs this weekend but I fear he might have used it all up against the Razorbacks.
Florida loses to Georgia 20–34 -- Has the Billy Napier experiment officially ended in Gainesville? It's never been the same for the Gators since the loss to Bama in the 2009 SEC Championship game.
Penn State loses to Ohio State 13-20 -- James Franklin is now 1-10 versus Ohio State and still cannot win the big one.
Miami over Duke 53-31 -- Does anyone else think when Cam Ward moves on to the NFL after this season that the Canes slide back to 5-6 loss program again?
Louisville over Clemson 33-21 -- Clemson had played only one good team prior to this weekend and got completely embarrassed (UGA 34-3). The Cards were the second decent team on the Tiger's schedule and the outcome was very similar to Georgia game…embarrassment. And at home to boot.
Indiana over Michigan State 47-10 -- The Hoosiers have played only 2 teams with a winning record in Nebraska (5-4) and Washington (5-4).
Vanderbilt over Auburn 17-7 -- In his second season Freeze now has a worse record than Bryan Harsin (9-13 versus 9-12). LOL! I'm sure he'll find a way to blame global warming for his lack of creating the freeze warning he claimed was coming.
UCLA over Nebraska 27-20 -- The Bruins, who are one of the worst P5 teams, got a huge upset win over the Huskers in Lincoln. I wonder if Dylan Raiola is now rethinking his big de-commitment from Georgia?
North Carolina over FSU 35-11 -- I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team challenge for a possible national title one year and then win only two games the following season. It could happen but only if the Canes beat Charleston Southern on 11/23.
