Fvcking free throws are the coaches fault? We have been a great FT team all season and choked from the line tonight and it’s the coaches fault? He should have told them to make the free throws I guess?

I love watching Pippen play except against us. The kid is a baller. Hopefully tonight was the last time we’ll face him.
I base that comment on Oats comments in the preseason this year. He was asked if they worked on free throws in the offseason after the showing against UCLA game and said no. They he didnt feel they needed to do anything extra for free throws. So if it isnt emphasized enough it is the coaches fault. Guys can put up a 1000 shots a practice but it doesnt do shit for shooting at the line. I agree with u that players need to hit the shots. But it just seems its not a talking point when we have great 3 point shooters but they cant hit the free ones at the line
They practice free throws. Telling guys they need to make their free throws is pointless bc it’s the most unnecessary thing in history to tell someone. This is a good FT team that CHOKED from the line tonight. If we had sucked from the line all year I would get it
I don’t care who we end up playing in the tourney we will be going home day 1. I’d be surprised if we didn’t get blown out

73-74% range last I looked… that is good. 95 out of 350 isn’t awful
I’m thinking this team played itself out of a 5 slot into a 9 or 10. Just an awful team with rare flashes of good.
Whatever seed it gets it will be a brief one. First game it’s out and looking like shit in the process.
We supposedly couldn't fall lower than a 6 but we finished the season horribly.
2-4 in our last 6 games counting tonight.
3 game losing streak.
These committees have screwed Bama teams going back to the 70s so I have little doubt we'll fall further than the "experts" have predicted. We'll end up a 7 seed against a 10 seed that's lucky to even be in the tournament and we'll fail to show up ready to play against a team we don't respect enough for whatever reason.

That long pass he threw to JD with his back turned is unexplainable. Then he commenced to making back-to-back unforced TOs. But it wasn't just Q, his teammates contributed to senseless TOs too. That 15-point lead evaporated faster than a cold beer in July.
