Thoughts on Alabama’s 2nd SEC Loss at Texas A&M

Nate Oats is 0-3 against Buzz Williams at Alabama and you can see why. Buzz has a system and culture that preaches defense and muddying the game. They did that today, with some help from Alabama not making shots.

Alabama started 1/15 from 3 and only made 4 shots 16 minutes into the game, yet somehow went into the half only down 10. They caught fire late and took a 3 point lead, but free throws by A&M were just too much to overcome. A&M was 27/28 from the FT line while Bama was 10/11.

You could see this loss coming with the past offensive performances in recent games. Alabama relied on late comebacks after slow starts, but just couldn’t score late and turnovers piled up.

Alabama gets a week off before playing again on Friday and they need that rest. The team looks fatigued and you can tell on their shots. Hopefully the rest gets them right and gets back to playing like themselves. Similar thing happened 2 years ago and then they caught fire in the SECT again.

Today’s game versus the Aggies has me confused as to what to expect :

A. Does the team have a letdown after the run of tough games , OT against AU, & winning the SEC ( and if we are being honest bama hasn’t been playing their best ball lately!! )

B. Does the pressure from the Brandon Miller spotlight diminish on the road and they play loose on the road away from distractions etc and return to their three point shooting dominance ?

Several SEC Teams Could Be Dangerous Right Now

As far as winning the SEC Tournament, it could be up for grabs. As the season comes to an end several teams are playing really good basketball. All of these teams could be tough outs in Conference and NCAA Tournaments.
Arkansas
A&M
Miss State-may not make the Big Dance, but could be tough in Sec Tournament
Tenn
Kentucky
Missouri
It won't be any fun playing any of these guys. They all seem to have picked their game up here late in the season.

Alabama officially adds Robert Bala to coaching staff

University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban announced the hiring of Robert Bala to serve as the Crimson Tide’s inside linebackers coach on Friday.

I am so sick….

Of the flop in basketball. I’m watching Arky-Kentucky and the weird (for Arky) looking guy faked a flop and got the call and he flexed and screamed while walking around center court like he had really done something. I could see the flex after a hard charge or something but a flop? I wish anytime there’s a flop, they’d revu it to confirm or throw em out of the game. That would stop that sissy crap.

Bama Women/ Curry

About to lose their fourth game in a row with a first round loss in SEC tourney.
I tried to tell everyone/ please anyone ( JTR4DAD) please come on here and defend Kristi Curry again.

I am begging you to try. This may and probably should bust their NCAA bubble with their god awful non conference schedule.
No 8-9 seed any longer. More like 10-11 if at all.

Get Curry the hell out.
