Big men

Charles had 0 points and 2-3 rebounds tonight. And we really went on our run when he came out with his fourth foul. Wasn’t his night tonight.
Clowney played well except for going 0-6 from three, including that terrible three he shot late. He had to play pretty good on defense, especially in the 2nd half.
Gurley had 0 points but only 1 turnover. He had to play some really good D in the 2nd half too.
Pringle had 7 points in his short time. I wonder if he’s lacking on the defensive end? Seems like he gets turned around at times.
Is not having a big guy that can really man the paint every night going to cost us in March?

Base Line Inbounds

As good as this team and the coaches are I fail to understand why we can't effectively inbound the ball from the baseline. Last night we called two timeouts because we couldn't get the ball in and JQ had to throw the ball at a MS player to get the 5 second recount started again on another instance. Very frustrating to see this with all the talent we have. Not a coach but seems to me we could draw up several plays to get the ball in play.

Lingo question....

I'm going to date myself here but that's ok. I can remember when if you blocked someone's shot it was called mugging them. Anyway, I know lingo comes and goes especially in sports, but,...what is length? All the announcers now talk about Alabama's length. Does that mean we have tall players? Does it mean they have long arms? Exactly what is length?

Easy for me, give me Chiefs and Eagles. If I had to rank the matchup I want to see it would be
1. Chiefs/Eagle (I'm a Chiefs fan and I want to see Jalen get to the SB)
2. Chiefs/49ers (wife is a 49ers fan)
3. Eagle/Bengals (would be pulling for Jalen to win it all)
4. 49ers/Bengals (Would be pulling for my wife's team)

“At Alabama, the work they put in is important to them, it's the next man up to be great, and Coach Saban has done it for such a long time that you can never look past the best to do it.”
