What this will be is another year post CAG that our team plays softer with less ability than the team the year before. We are on a roll...

Is there any way Saban would consider coaching both football and basketball at Bama. Not only would we probably play tougher and smarter but we'd recruit better too.

Bama couldn't get a stop to save their life which resulted in relying on half court offense. Stanford extended out to take away 3's. Every time we drove past the defender help defense swarmed in which resulted in no less than 67 cringeworthy shot attempts. Regardless of how good Stanford is this was one of the worst team performances I have seen under Oats. Hard to say anybody did anything well whatsoever.
YES, but we lose three games every preseason that we should have won over easier teams than in the conference. If we would win those two or three we would go to the tourney a lot more.

I think we are a tournament team. Forced 22 turnovers just didn't capitalized and shoot well.but primo definitely isn't a lotto now
I don’t think it’s smart to react harshly one way or another after game 2. We played terrible. But everything we did wrong is easily correctable. We have good players and a good coaching staff. We’ll be ok. Teams lose games they shouldn’t and play poorly early in the season. It happens. Kentucky lost to a good Richmond team yesterday or the day before, at home. We’re not Kentucky but my point is, it’s early. Why not be patient and see what this team turns into
Pretty much this. I will add that our terrible shooting is not nearly as alarming as our defense has been. Hopefully open shots will start falling. The ease that they were able to get to rim and open shots is what is troubling.
Stanford literally looked like they were playing at 75% effort tonight and still whooped our ass. Oats better make adjustments quick
I literally LOL'ed. You know nothing about me as a fan. I have been a Bama basketball fan my entire life, and I like basketball better than football. I am just sick and tired after seeing the same ole results year after year.

Agreed. I'm not even mad about the result as the way we play the game of basketball. It's mind-boggling how easy it was for Stanford to defend us tonight and score at will. Yet we miss layups, try to throw alley oops and dribble into the lane more than any team I have ever seen
He will. He’s too good of a coach to let those kind of things fly. This is about as bad as we could play. Against a good team. That’s how blowouts happen. It’s nothing more than one bad game. We lost to Penn at home early last year and still had every opportunity to play meaningful postseason basketball

Then be sick of the 22 turnovers we forced. Shots will fall. We will capitalize. Just didn't happen tonight. Stanford will make a far run. They are setup well with 2 of the best shooters in the country.
