TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama has reached the midway point of its fall camp as players participated in their 10th practice Tuesday afternoon. Players were dressed in full pads as they worked indoors to escape 97-degree heat. Here are some notes from the media viewing period.

— Freshman defensive lineman Antonio Alfano was spotted wearing a brace on his left knee before practice. He was walking with a limp but was wearing a red jersey.

— The defensive line worked outside away from the media, so it's uncertain whether or not Alfano participated in practice. Stephon Wynn Jr. was absent from practice Monday after recently posting a photo of himself after surgery. D.J. Dale (knee) is also out. LaBryan Ray (ankle) returned to practice Monday after missing the beginning of camp.

— Offensive lineman Matt Womack returned to action after he was limited the past two viewing sessions. The redshirt senior seemed to be moving without any limitations during the viewing period.

— Alabama’s first-team unit on offensive line appeared to be Alex Leatherwood, Evan Neal, Emil Ekiyor, Womack and Jedrick Wills Jr. It marked the second straight day Ekiyor was seen working with the first-team offensive line. Monday, graduate transfer Landon Dickerson filled Womack’s role at right guard.

— The secondary worked out of the dime formation with Trevon Diggs and Josh Jobe as cornerbacks, Patrick Surtain II at Star and Xavier McKinney at Money. Shyheim Carter and Jared Mayden were the two safeties. Dylan Moses served as the lone middle linebacker, while Anfernee Jennings and Christopher Allen took turns at the Jack linebacker position. Both outside linebackers were working on coverage drills while covering the running back on swing routes.

— Alabama’s second-team dime secondary was comprised of Marcus Banks and Scooby Carter as the cornerbacks while Jalyn Armour-Davis played Star and Daniel Wright played Money. DeMarcco Hellams and Jordan Battle were the safeties, while Markail Benton served as the lone linebacker.

— Moses led the inside linebackers during positional drills and was followed by Benton, Shane Lee, Ale Kaho, Jaylen Moody and Christian Harris.

— We got a good look at the running backs as they worked on toss plays and swing passes. Najee Harris led the unit and was followed by Brian Robinson Jr., Jerome Ford, Keilan Robinson and Chadarius Townsend.

— The wide receivers worked on footwork drills early during practice before taking part in end zone fades. Jerry Jeudy led the unit followed by DeVonta Smith, Henry Rugs III, Xavier Williams, Tyrell Shavers, Slade Bolden, Jaylen Waddle and John Metchie.

— The tight ends worked caught short, quick passes. Miler Forristall led the unit and was followed by Major Tennison, Giles Amos, Cameron Latu and Jahleel Billingsley. Michael Parker appeared to be working with the scout team.
