The team returned from spring return and hit practiced outside Monday. Here is what I saw during the limited viewing period.
Cam Robinson was late joining the offensive lineman drills. He walked up with head trainer Jeff Allen and stood off to the side while I watched. Brandon Greene took his place at left tackle.
Kenyan Drake went through one period with the wide receivers after going through drills with the running backs behind Derrick Henry during the opening of practice. Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin is drawn to Drake due to his ability to line him up all over the field and create mismatches.
Reggie Ragland and Shaun Dion Hamilton worked inside during linebacker drills while I watched. Outside linebacker Ryan Anderson wore No. 22 ( he wore No. 7 last year).
Running back Tyren Jones remains suspended (he's still on the roster) and Grant Hill remains on medical leave.
Cornerback Cyrus Jones and linebacker Denzel Devall worked out with Scott Cochran. Nick Saban said both are likely out for the duration of spring practice.
