The team practiced outside for the second time this week, the third practice of spring practice, and the guys went in full pads for the first time. Here is what I saw during the limited viewing period.
Cam Robinson appears to be a bit limited still (nothing serious). He stood off to the side during drills. Brandon Greene was again at left tackle in his spot.
Anthony Averett is now wearing No. 16 and he's working out with the wide receivers and not defensive backs. The wide receivers went through drills in the following order: Chris Black, ArDarius Stewart, Cam Sims, Robert Foster, Kenyan Drake (he continues to work at running back and wide receiver), Derek Kief, Anthony Averett, Parker Barrineau and Raheem Falkins.
Junior college transfer defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor looks to be in good shape. He could be a big plug in the middle of the defense this year.
Outside linebackers went through drills in the following order: Dillon Lee, Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams and Rashaan Evans.
Denzel Devall and Cyrus Jones road exercise bikes. Devall had a cast on his left foot and Jones' right shoulder was immobile.
Tyren Jones (suspended) and Grant Hill (medical leave) were still absent from practice.
