TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama worked indoors Thursday in its second practice in preparation for Monday’s national championship game against Georgia.
Here are a few notes from the brief media viewing period:
Still no sign of Lester Cotton who was injured during the Sugar Bowl against Clemson. We have not received word from Alabama regarding his status.
Cotton was replaced by senior J.C. Hassenauer at right guard on Alabama’s first-team offensive line.
Anfernee Jennings (knee) was obviously not at practice and he will not play in Monday’s game against Georgia.
Dylan Moses is out (foot) and will not be playing in Monday’s game. Same for Hootie Jones and Shaun Dion Hamilton.
Brandon Kennedy (leg) was in a black jersey warming up, but was away from the other linemen who were in drills.
Josh Jacobs had a hamstring support strip on his right leg and was not going through drills with the other backs.
