TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Fresh off its return from the White House, Alabama worked outside Wednesday for its 10 practice of spring camp. Players were dressed in full pads in sunny, 73-degree weather for the workout. Here are some notes from the media viewing period:

— Receiver Tyrell Shavers wasn’t seen for a second straight media viewing period. While he hasn’t been spotted practicing with the team this week, some reporters saw him in a black jersey before the start of Monday’s practice. We’ll have more on the injury during Nick Saban’s news conference closer to 6 p.m.

— Fellow receiver Jerry Jeudy (knee) was also absent from practice. That’s not surprising as Saban said he did not expect him to return this week.

— Tua Tagovailoa continued to throw to an intern aside from the rest of the quarterbacks. He took part in handoff drills similar to what he did Monday.

— Alabama’s first-team offensive line remained the same. During drills, the line was spilt into two groups. Brandon Kennedy snapped for the right side of the line which had Jedrick Wills at guard and Alex Leatherwood at tackle. Ross Pierschbacher snapped for the left side of the line which had Lester Cotton at guard and Jonah Williams at tackle.

— At one point, Brent Key had the offensive line do up-downs.

— Alabama’s secondary was split into two sides. On one drill the left side had Trevon Diggs at corner, Shyheim Diggs at Star and Xavier McKinney at Money with Slade Bolden back at deep safety. The right side had Savion Smith at corner, Kyriq McDonald at Star, Xavier McKinney at Money and Deionte Thompson at deep safety. Alabama also worked Daniel Wright closer to the line on certain reps.

— Christian Miller led the outside linebackers during individual drills. He was followed by Jamey Mosley, Terrell Lewis, Christopher Allen and Jarez Parks. Earlier this week, Lewis said Allen recorded the most production points of any Alabama defender during the scrimmage.

— Members of the Blue Angels were present for the practice. They will be involved in an airshow in Tuscaloosa on Sunday.
