It's been a rainy week here in Tuscaloosa so it was no surprise that the team practiced indoors Thursday afternoon. It is the last practice before Saturday's A-Day spring game. Here is what I saw in an even-shorter-than-normal viewing period.
The team worked in shorts and shells. The running backs went through drills in the following order: Derrick Henry, Kenyan Drake, Ronnie Clark and DeSherrius Flowers.
Former Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weiss was on the sideline watching practice. His son, Charlie Weiss Jr., is now on the Alabama staff.
David Cornwell appears to be solid as the No. 2 quarterback right now. The recently released A-Day roster seems to point to that fact too. Jake Coker will be the starting quarterback at A-Day.
That's about all there was today. As previously noted, today's viewing period was very short.
